Strength from within

Often recommended by Physiotherapists and doctors, Pilates is a series of mat based exercises which aim to strengthen the internal muscles that support the spine and in turn create a better posture.

 

Pilates also energises and stretches the muscles leaving you feeling relaxed with a sense of well being afterwards.

 

It is quite calm and passive and focuses on lateral thoracic breathing which helps to utilises the lungs and heart and make them work much more effectively.
